Hannah Cooper is a National multi-award winning singer-songwriter who grew up in rural Minnesota listening to show tunes and film scores. She began singing in church choirs and schools at a young age, which gave way to songwriting in her early teens. Hannah has always had a thirst for adventure. Filling her 20’s with a 6,000 mile bike tour, seasonal work on a crabbing boat vessel and building a tiny house. It wasn’t until later in her life she began to pursue a music career, bringing those adventures to song. Hannah expands the room with a haunting mezzo-soprano voice and her songs harness the personality of film scores, but invoke familiar aspects of Americana, Folk and Jazz -- perhaps Joni Mitchell meets Hoagy Carmichael. Keeping honesty and heart on the tip of her pen, she has produced a body of work that remains truly and entirely unto itself.
